Dad's Funeral

I was going to add a few pics from the funeral at the end of the last post, but there were too many I wanted to include, so I did a separate post. Might be boring for a few of you-sorry!

Dad wanted to be buried in Santaquin. Because he spent most of his life there, and we have lots of family and friends down there, we had a viewing the night before the funeral at the funeral home there. Then after the funeral, we drove back down for the interment. It's about an hour drive, so we arrived kind of scattered. Here are a few pics taken while we were waiting for all the pall bearers to arrive.

Dad's best friend and his wife. . who came all the way from Vegas to be with us. Thanks Uncle Rich & Aunt Vicki! We love you!

Jeran and his girlfriend, Vanessa.

Unfortunately, we didn't realize that the plot we chose, was on such a hill. We were so scattered and were trying to get all the arrangements done within a few days. I'm sure at the resurrection, he'll be cussing us. Ha!

All the pall bearers. . thanks to all of you!

Mariah and her husband, Kyle

David. . thanks for taking care of Dad when he was at VOA with you! You're the best, man!

Mom and Grandma Chris

Jace was rolling down the hill-of course.

I know he loves the casket we chose. . thanks to Holladay Brown Funeral home for going out of their way to find the perfect color. Brown was Dad's fave.

Wouldn't be complete without stuffing our faces afterward. Dad always loved food.

Elsie brought all of her jewelry for everyone to check out. My Dad always looked forward to that when Elsie visited.

My Dad had a brother named Roy, who died when we were kids. . these are his children (starting top left): Tonya, (grandpa & grandma) Lynette, Royden & Royneldia.

Afterward, we all went back to Mom's house and made lots and lots of fry bread! Good times after all! :)
