Cornbelly's

I got season passes for Cornbelly's on City Deals for more than 50% off!
So, I bought passes for all of us. Rusty hasn't been able to go with us yet, but we're hoping we'll be able to go once with him before it gets too cold. We went opening day, at 10am and stayed til 4:30pm. LONG day! But, the kids had a blast! Money well spent!

They have a big box of corn for the kids to play in. I thought it was weird, but the kids loved it!

And afterwards, they were covered in white powder from the corn. Too funny.

They had to get pics with the big fire truck.

Jada was picked from the audience to help with the pig races.

They spent lots of time looking at the map, deciding where we would go next. (this is the only other pic I took from the second time we went)

More September Stuff

I signed both the kids up for soccer. Although he looks excited, Jace played for maybe 5 min of ONE game-that's it. Couldn't get him to play anymore. Jada played and loved it.

Rusty has started fixing my mom's fence. Jace is "helping".


Jace was so hungry one afternoon. . I was hoping to make them wait til dinner and not give them any snacks. I kept telling them 'no' for whatever they asked me to snack on. Then Jace came to me with this. A box of crackers and a jar of jalapeno jelly. Guess he was REALLY hungry! Couldn't help it, I gave in.

Still working on the back yard. We hired out to do the sprinklers and sod and I forgot to get some pictures of that. But it's lookin good! :)

Still gotta get the curbing in. Not sure if you can see those big rocks next to the house? Rusty and I moved them there ourselves. there are like 6 or something I think. We used a dolly to get them from the field behind the house. NOT easy.

In the back left, where Rusty is storing all his crap is where the garden will be.

Still gotta pour an RV pad on this side. Maybe all the way back to the shed!? It's so much grass to mow! Argh!

Future site for Rusty's shed (to store all his 'stuff') and the rest of the fence. Gotta pour mow strip first, or it would already be done.

Another Hinkle Family Party

Rusty's cousin Tim had a birthday on Sept. 3rd. They had a party for him at his house-another great reason for a party!

They have a pool so the kids (Jada, Harley & Jace)spent most of the time swimming!

They worked up an appetite!
