Summer is almost over?

It is crazy that Summer is coming to an end!? We aren't ready! We have had a crazy August! Rusty changed jobs and it has proved to be a good move, but has taken a huge leap of faith for us. But we have had blessings sent our way as a result of our faith and we are so grateful! We took advantage of the time he had off between job moves and went to Seven Peaks together. We have passes this year and have been several times. It's so much fun! This was taken when we were outside the park having lunch.

First weekend in August is Santaquin Days Celebration.

24th of July Weekend

We had a fun 24th of July Weekend!

Thanks to Uncle Bruce and Aunt Anneliese we get to go to the Days of 47 Rodeo every year! So we started off there on Friday

This was the first year that Jace has been to the Rodeo when they've had motorcross for half time entertainment. He was ecstatic!

When we got home, Rusty tried on my coaches shirt from allstars. Sorry babe, I think it's a little too small! lol! Had to sneak this one in!

Then on the 24th we bbq'd with Jason, Bobbi Jo and kids


And then did some fire works!

It was a great weekend!

More July 2011

Rusty has scored a few side jobs this summer. This one was just across the street so the kids and I 'helped' as much as we could. I'm married to such a HARD working man!

Mariah's birthday is on the 10th and we got together for dinner at my mom's. Jeran and Vanessa brought their dog. Jada loves animals.


Jace keeps his distance.

We invited Jada's allstar team over to get their hair braided for one of their July tournaments. They were the first 3 done.

We picked our firsts from our garden on the 14th. The plants have struggled this year and a friend told me to pick the tomatoes green if I needed to help the plant. . .

This was after the tournament weekend once we took all the braids out! She has SO much hair!

Had to snap this one of Jace. He has weird bed time habits.

Finishing up the side job across the street. Jace was hauling vinyl on his trike!

It wouldn't stay so he was trying to strap it down.

And then there was the yearly bike parade. We worked hard decorating their bike/scooter! :/

They were happy and that's all that matters!
We spent some time at the pool with friends. Here's Aubree and Jace sun bathing.
I had to bribe Jada and Makinlee with ice cream cones, so they would get out of the pool.
And then picked some jalapenos on the 28th. I was actually surprised we got anything from our garden. It looks really sad!
