Happy Easter!

It's pretty much impossible to get my kids to smile for a picture at the same time, or even look at the camera at the same time. Jada does pretty good, but Jace is so difficult. He refuses to smile. So here are the best of the pic's I took on Easter. I still think they're stinkin cute.

Disney Princesses On Ice

We wanted to take the kids to Disneyland this spring, but we won't be able to afford to. So, we told Jada that we'd take her to Disney Princesses On Ice. We got a thing in the mail informing us that we would be able to order tickets before they were even available to the public. I'm not sure why. Maybe because I've ordered from Disney.com so many times before? So we bought the tickets back in December and were able to get the very front row. They were madly expensive but I think it was well worth the money. Jada is totally into the whole Disney princesses thing and has been for years, so of course she had the time of her life. I do have to say that I think it's completely ridiculous how much they charge for the souvenirs . . . . But it was much cheaper than a trip to Disneyland!

What did I get myself into?

We signed Jada up for Bonnet Ball last week. They have a rule that if the player is not 5 by Jan. 1st of that year, that the parent must be willing to coach or assist. So, I reluctantly agreed to assist. We went last night to team announcements so that she could meet her coach and teammates. The coach announced that they will be practicing every Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights for 1 hour. She then said that they will be practicing every day the week before their first game. . . "to get them good and ready". AND she may be adding a practice in here or there, but she didn't want to burn them out while their young. . . .UH. . . .HELLO?!? I know my mouth was hitting the floor, but as I looked around at the other parents, I noticed that I was pretty much the only one that was freaking out. Am I over reacting? I was seriously thinking that I would tell the coach afterwards that this wasn't what we were expecting. . and that maybe we will wait until she is a little older(hoping they would understand and return my $65). . and then she announced that the color of their team shirts are PINK!!! Jada starts jumping up and down. . of course. Why wouldn't she? That's her favorite color. Awesome. So how could I back out now? I guess we'll have to work it out. It shouldn't be too hard to fit it in between preschool, dance, and soccer, right? Ughh.
