So Cute!

I went to a stampin' up workshop with my friend Amie. We made these adorable cork boards. I am so excited about how unbelievably cute they turned out. I am seriously so surprised that I could do it. I have not one crafty bone in my body. But I'm slowly trying to learn. I made our Christmas cards this past year. They took me forever, and I complained about how much work they were, but I secretly loved every minute of it. I think seeing the end result is what makes it all worth it! I'm thinking about joining one of the stampin' up clubs that meet once a month and do sweet little projects like these. Just had to share!

It's my week to teach

I'm teaching RS every third sunday. So I'm teaching tomorrow. I truly do love it. I learn more than any that I teach. But just when I seem like I'm getting the hang of it. . . it get's more challenging. Studying Joseph Smith this year is awesome, but is there a prophet that is studied more? I doubt it. So, my first lesson of the year was on The First Vision. . so hard! It's like, what do you teach on something that is so well known? And this week the lesson is on Jesus Christ. See what I mean? I guess that's how we grow though right?

What color are you?

Take this test!

You're brown, a credible, stable color that's reminiscent of fine wood, rich leather, and wistful melancholy. Most likely, you're a logical, practical person ruled more by your head than your heart. With your inquisitive mind and insatiable curiosity, you're probably a great problem solver. And you always gather all of the facts before coming to a timely, informed decision. Easily intrigued, you're constantly finding new ways to challenge your mind, whether it's by reading the newspaper, playing a trivia game, or composing a piece of music. Brown is an impartial, neutral color, which means you tend to see the difference between fact and opinion easily and are open to many points of view. Trustworthy and steady, you really are a brown at heart.

Getting Older

So yesterday I registered Jada for Kindergarten. She is so excited! And I'm seriously going crazy! I can't believe she is even old enough to go to kindergarten!? Where did all that time go? Am I really old enough to have children in school? I don't feel like it. It's just such a trip. but so sad at the same time. My baby girl isn't a baby anymore. I think I began to realize that once I had Jace. Suddenly Jada became a giant!
Rusty and I celebrated our 8th anniversary on Tuesday. The best 8 years of his life!:) He's such a good man! I couldn't ask for a better husband! He's so good to me. . .puts up with my garbage and loves me unconditionally. And he's such a good Dad! I don't know what I'd do without him! Time seriously flies so stinkin fast. . .the older you get the quicker it slips away.
