A Few More February Events. . .

Jada lost her other top front tooth towards the end of February. . . she for sure has earned her nickname, Jack.

Jada came home from school with her nose all scraped up. It actually looked so much worse than it does in this pic. When I saw it, I was completely horrified and asked her what happened. She said she fell at school on some ice and I guess landed on her nose? wth? I was kind of upset that her teacher didn't have her call me. Poor thing!

Jace got this hat with a tool set for his birthday. I laugh so hard when he wears it. I think him and Jada were dancing. . or doing something silly that night.

Jada received an award at school called the Principal Pride Award. The students getting that award, get to invite their parents to have lunch with them and see them be honored by the principal. So, here are a few pics of the celebration. . . skinned nose and all.

Fence Convention 2010

Every year, in February, the American Fence Association holds a convention. Each year it is in a different state. This year it was in Florida. Rusty's boss flew his wife, and Rusty and I down to Orlando for the convention. It was mine and Rusty's first time in Florida, and we had a blast. Here are some pics from our trip.

I took some pics of our condo because I thought it was super nice. Believe it or not, it was way cheap too!

I couldn't believe how huge the laundry room was! I wish mine at home was this big!

One night after the convention, we were trying to kill some time before we went to dinner with some vendors, so we drove to the Orlando Temple. Isn't it beautiful?

There was this weird building. . that looked like it was sinking-had to get a pic of it.

That night we had sushi with about 4 other people. . .I think someone went a little overboard when they were ordering. . .

Can you believe all that sushi for 8 people? And I didn't take a pic of the appetizers!

The next day, we went to a place where Jason and Rusty could fly airplanes. Here they are, waiting for their turn.

These two had just gotten back from vacation in India, had 2 days then we left for Florida. . they were exhausted.


While we were there we went to Universal Studios!

This HUGE statue of a basketball player was outside one of the shops. I thought it was cool.

The Hard Rock was one of the coolest I've seen.

Here's a pic of one of the roller coasters we didn't ride. The wait for it was 2 hours and they wouldn't allow front of the line pass users. Looks awesome though, right?

Not sure what this little lizard is called, but I thought it was cool that it was right by where we were golfing.
