Valentines Day 2009

This year for V day we had Rusty's bro and his fam over for dinner and chocolate fondue dessert. It was the kids' first time doing fondue and they were in heaven!

Oh, and a little wii afterwards. . .fun times!

Happy Anniversary

Rusty and I celebrated our 9th anniversary this month. He surprised me by making overnight reservations, in a suite, at the Grand America Hotel. He wouldn't tell me what we were doing until that day. He even arranged for someone to take the kids-which was so nice because I didn't have to worry about a single thing! When we got there, (btw our room was super nice!) there was a dozen long stem, beautiful roses waiting for me! So sweet.

We had dinner in the restaurant there. . the food was very good. Then rode trax to the JS Memorial Building to see "Joseph". (We have been wanting to see it forever, just had a hard time fitting it in.) We came back to our room and found this. . .

Rose petals in the shape of a heart on the bed, our complimentary robes folded neatly and a small package of chocolates for each of us. . .so romantic.

The next morning we had 1hr massages together in the hotel's spa. It was both of our first times getting massages. . .needless to say, we will now be doing that on a regular basis!

We had such a great time! Thanks to my WONDERFUL husband for taking the time to plan something so unforgettable! It's been the best 9 years of my life!
