My Dad would've been 55 on October 2nd, 2010. We got together and had lunch that day and sent him messages via helium balloon to wish him a happy birthday! A friend of mine did it for her late sister's birthday and I thought it was a great idea! The kids thought it was fun! We all love and miss him so much!

Funny story-after lunch we were getting stuff together ready to write notes and Jeran grabbed the balloons and was gonna inhale some of the helium so he could talk goofy for the kids. I was like dude, what are you doing? He had no idea what we were going to do with them. . .he thought we just brought them for the party! lol He said he thought it was a little weird. .but didn't say anything. lol!
The kids were amazed to see how they just kept floating higher and higher.
