This post is a little late. . .but better late than never, right? These are a couple of pictures of Jada's birthday party! She turned 5 last Monday!! We celebrated the Saturday before by having friends over for a BBQ, cake and ice cream, and of course a pinata! We did a pinata for her 2nd birthday and she insists on it every year now. It's lots of fun for the kids. . . and for the parents. . . this year we had over 13 lbs of candy and gum! (You're welcome moms and dads!) I still can't believe that she is 5. It seems like just yesterday she was born. I'll never forget the day she was born. She was a beautiful baby with lots of dark hair! I can't believe how fast that time went by!
I went with her to school on that Monday for her birthday spotlight. On their birthday, they get to be in charge of everyone and they wear a cute little birthday crown. The parents are invited to come for the first 20 min of class to tell anything about her that will make her feel special. We also get to bring treats-so of course we took PINK cookies along with PINK posterboard filled with pics of her and some of her favorite things. Her preschool teachers could not stop talking about what a delight she is to have in her class. They said that she is always concerned about everyone around her and is always making sure that everyone feels included. They said that she always listens and does what she is told and never gets in trouble! I wasn't surprised by what they had to say really, but I was so excited and touched that I was almost in tears! It was just a reminder of how rewarding it is to be a parent! I am so proud of her!
She is sweet, loving, smart, honest, forgiving, beautiful, courageous, outgoing, . . . I could go on and on. She is always so willing to help me with anything and is the best big sister to Jace!
I am so grateful to have her as my daughter! I love you , Jada!

It is crazy that our kids are getting older! It does seem just like yesterday! Looks like you guys had a fun party! I'm still not so sure about a party for Carter but I'm sure I'll do it! Maybe just a couple friends.
I'm glad to see you get to deal with the High School Musical craze too! I definitley agree that Jada is a good girl! My kids always have so much fun playing with her!
Ok, so this has nothing to do with your picture :) Anyway to be completely HONEST I forgot your married last name. I saw on your myspace you had a hinkle family reunion so I assumed that was it. Since it did not say okelberry, it was the logical choice. :) I took your name off till I figure out what it really is... LOL....stop freakin' out okay? Throw me a Freakin' bone here!

yep, his feet are huge! The shoes are a size too big, but still... huge. I am so glad that you sent a message back! My email is peacockm77@hotmail.com, if that is easier. I got married in the provo temple november 2006. We had the baby just over a year after. Im nervous to leave such a huge post, but I am excited to catch up!
